AAC is a member-supported nonprofit community art center and gallery. Located in suburban Philadelphia, Abington Art Center offers classes and workshops in ceramics among other disciplines. The Art Center also has a Gallery Shop, exhibition galleries and Sculpture Park.
Over the years, AAC has become a recognized venue for contemporary art, both regionally and nationally. The Sculpture Park, one of only a few sites of its kind in the state, has been recognized on the national level with public project grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, The Pew Charitable Trusts, the Andy Warhol Foundation, and the MidAtlantic Arts Foundation.
AAC's Sculpture Park and Gallery constitute a critical component of educational activities, serving as a valuable means of study, while providing important professional opportunities for emerging and established artists. Related educational programs such as art lectures, slide presentations and workshops provide meaningful context to aid understanding, stimulate dialogue and foster an appreciation of contemporary art.

Abington Art Center, located in the northern suburbs of Philadelphia, PA is a non-collecting contemporary art museum with exhibition galleries and a sculpture park. Abington Art Center’s mission is to cultivate the power of the arts – inspiring individuals and strengthening community. The Art Center supports its mission through exhibitions, a studio school for visual arts & dance, community education programs and public events at its Jenkintown, Pennsylvania cultural campus.
The 27 acres (110,000 m2) of lawn and woodlands that make up the sculpture park includes works by Joy Episalla, Robert Lobe, Jeanne Jaffe, Thomas Matsuda, Brian McCutcheon, Steven Siegel, Steve Tobin, Ursula von Rydingsvard, and A Reclamation Garden by Winifred Lutz. |
